208 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy,
annexed to the vicarage of Newenton, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Salisbury: the prebend of
West Knoyle, which is an appendage to that of Newenton,
is rated in the king's books at £8. 12. 11.
