LAMBRIGG, a township in that part of the parish
of KENDAL which is in KENDAL ward, county of WESTMORLAND,
6 miles (E. N. E.) from Kendal, containing
164 inhabitants. A vein of copper-ore was formerly
worked here, but proving unproductive, from the great
quantity of water in the mine, it has long since been
abandoned.
