LAMMAS, a parish in the southern division of the hundred of ERPINGHAM, county of NORFOLK, 3 miles (N. W. by N.) from Coltishall, containing, with the parish of Little Hautboys, 284 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, united to that of Little Hautboys, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich, endowed with £ 200 private benefaction, and £ 200 royal bounty. The church, dedicated to St. Andrew, contains, in the north window, some specimens of ancient stained glass.
