LANGFORD, a parish in the southern division of the hundred of GREENHOE, county of NORFOLK, 6 miles (W. S. W.) from Watton, containing 29 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, with that of Ickborough, not rated in the king's books, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich. Alexander Baring, Esq. was patron in 1824. The church, dedicated to St. Andrew, is an ancient building of flint, with a square western embattled tower; it contains several memorials of the Methwolds and Garrards, formerly lords of the place.
