LANGFORD-BUDVILLE, a parish in the hundred
of MILVERTON, county of SOMERSET, 3 miles (N. W. by
W.) from Wellington, containing 564 inhabitants. The
living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage
of Milverton, and in the peculiar jurisdiction of the
Archdeacon of Taunton. The church is dedicated to
St. James.
