LANLIVERY, a parish in the eastern division of
the hundred of POWDER, county of CORNWALL, 1 mile
(W. by S.) from Lostwithiel, containing 1318 inhabitants.
The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall,
and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at
£13. 6. 8. The Rev. William Hocker was patron in
1815. The church is dedicated to St. Brevita. There
is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
