LEA-MARSTON, a parish in the Atherstone division
of the hundred of HEMLINGFORD, county of WARWICK,
4 miles (N.) from Coleshill, containing 284 inhabitants.
The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry
of Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and
Coventry, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and
£400 royal bounty. C. B. Adderley, Esq. was patron
in 1817. The church is dedicated to St. John the
Baptist.
