LEEMAILING, a township in the parish of BELLINGHAM,
north-western division of TINDALE ward,
county of NORTHUMBERLAND, 1 mile (W. N. W.) from
Bellingham, containing £85 inhabitants. There is a
neat domestic chapel at Hesleyside, the seat of William
John Charlton, Esq. The township is bounded on the
north by the North Tyne river.
