LEEK-WOOTTON, a parish in the Kenilworth division of the hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of WARWICK, 2 miles (S.) from Kenilworth, containing 436 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, rated in the king's books at £5, 12. 1, Chandos 50 LEG Leigh, Esq. was patron in 1824. The church is dedicated to All Saints. Daniel Winter, in 1776, bequeathed £10 per annum towards the support of a school, for which sum, together with others raised by contributions, and the free use of a house for his residence, the master teaches all poor children of the parish who apply.
