LEWANNICK, a parish in the northern division of EAST hundred, county of CORNWALL, 5 miles (S.W. by W.) from Launceston, containing 623 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £7. 18. 9., and in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated to St. Martin. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
