wapentake of MORLEY, West riding of the county
of YORK, 83: miles (E.) from Halifax, with which the
population is returned. The living is a perpetual
curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of York, en -
dowed with £ 600 private benefaction, and £ 800 royal
bounty, and in the patronage of the Vicar of Halifax.
