LITTLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of LONGBRIDGE, rape of PEVENSEY, county of SUSSEX, 4 miles (N.byB.) from Sleaford, containing 133 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Lewes, and diocese of Chichester, rated in the king's books at £12. 13. 6., and in the patronage of F.F.F. Beane, Esq. This parish is bounded on the west by Cuckmere river, the village being seated on its eastern bank.
