LLANDENNY, a parish in the lower division of the hundred of RAGLAND, county of MONMOUTH, 4 miles (N. E.) from Usk, containing 351 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, annexed to that of Ragland, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Llandaff, rated in the king's books at £5. 15. 5., and endowed with £ 1000 royal bounty. The church is dedicated to St. John.
