LLANTHEWY-SKIRRID, a parish in the lower
division of the hundred of ABERGAVENNY, county of
MONMOUTH, 4 miles (N. E. by E.) from Abergavenny,
containing 84 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in
the archdeaconry and diocese of Llandaff, rated in the
king's books at £7. 10. 2. John Wilmot, Esq. was
patron in 1799 The church is dedicated to St. David.
