MABYN (ST.), a parish in the hundred of TRIGG,
county of CORNWALL, 3 miles (E. by N.) from Wade-
Bridge, containing 715 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese
of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £36, and in the
patronage of the Earl of Falmouth. There is a place
of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
