SOUTHAMPTON, 3 miles (E. S.E.) from Basingstoke,
containing 186 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, annexed to the rectory of Newnham, in the
archdeaconry and diocese of Winchester. The church
is dedicated to St. Mary.
