MEALRIGG, a township, joint with Langrigg, in that
part of the parish of BROOMFIELD which is in ALLERDALE
ward below Darwent, county of CUMBERLAND, 9
miles (W. byS.) from Wigton. The population is returned
with Langrigg. Here is a spa, reputed to be of
considerable efficacy.
