MIDDLETON, a parish in the hundred of BLYTHING,
county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (E. S. E.) from Yoxford,
containing, with Fordley, 564 inhabitants. The
living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of
Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's
books at £5, and in the patronage of - Harrison, Esq.
The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. There is
a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
