MILVERTON, a parish in the Kenilworth division of the hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of WARWICK,- 1 mile (N.N E.) from Warwick, containing, with Mmonscott, 193 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, endowed with £200 royal bounty, and £200 parliamentary grant. The Earl ot Warwick was patron in 1792. The church is dedicated to St. James. Six children are instructed for a rent-, charge of £ 3, left by John Ayeares in 1775.
