MORVAL, a parish in WEST hundred, county of CORNWALL, 2 miles (N.) from East Looe, containing 615 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £6. 14. 9., and in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated to St. Wenn. The river Love bounds the parish on the west. John Buller, Esq., in 1714, founded a free school, and endowed it with & Q per annum, for teaching poor children.
