NACKINGTON, a parish in the hundred of BRIDGE-and-PETHAM, lathe of St. AUGUSTINE, county of KENT, 2 miles (S.) from Canterbury, containing 165 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of York, endowed with £400 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. The ancient Stane-street passes through the parish.
