NEWBOLD-PACEY, a parish in the Warwick division of the hundred of KINGTON, county of WARWICK, 5 miles (N. W. by N.) from Kington, containing, with Ashorn, 331 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £8. 3. 9., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Provost and Fellows of Queen's College, Oxford. The church is dedicated to St. George.
