NORTH-HOLME, a parish in the Marsh division
of the wapentake of CANDLESHOE, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 8 miles (S. E. by E.) from Spilsby,
containing 155 inhabitants. The living is a rectory with
Wainfleet, not rated in the king's books, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Lincoln. The church has long
since been destroyed: the cemetery is also used by the
inhabitants of Wainfleet.
