OSMASTON, a parish in-the hundred of REPTON-and-GRESLEY, county of DERBY, $ miles (S.E.) from Derby, containing 159 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Derby, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £400 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Sir Robert Wilmot, Bart. The church is dedicated to All Saints. The river Derwent and the Derby canal pass through the parish.
