OTLEY, a parish in the hundred of CARLFORD, county
of SUFFOLK, 5 miles (N.W. by N.) from Woodbridge,
containing 629 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the
archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated
in the king's books at £16. 6. 5., and in the patronage
of the Earl of Abergavenny. The church is dedicated
to St. Mary. There is a place of worship for Baptists.
