OTTERFORD, a parish in the hundred of TAUNTON
andTAUNTON-DEAN, county of SOMERSET, 7 miles
(S.) from Tauuton, containing 366 inhabitants. The
living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of
Taunton, and diocese of Bath and Wells, endowed with
£20.0 private benefaction, £600 royal bounty, and £300
parliamentary grant, and in.- the patronage of R. Buncombe,
Esq. The church.is dedicated to St. Leonard.
John Boles, in 1769, bequeathed £50 in support of a
school for six poor children.
