PANTON, a parish in the eastern division of the
wapentake of WRAGGOE, parts of LINDSEY, county of
LINCOLN, 3 miles (E. by N.) from Wragby, containing
83 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books
at £12. Edmund Turnor, Esq. was patron in 1825.
The church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
