PATCHAM, a parish in the hundred of DEAN, rape of LEWES, county of SUSSEX, 3 miles (N. by W.). from Brighton, containing 403 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Lewes, and diocese of Chichester, rated in the Icing's books at £7. 1. 5., and in the patronage of the Crown. The church, dedicated to All Saints, is partly in the early English, and partly in the decorated, style of architecture.
