PATSHULL, a parish in the southern division of the hundred of SEISDON, county of STAFFORD, 5 miles (S. E.) from Shiffnall, containing 144 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in. the archdeaconry of Stafford, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £400 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Sir George Pigot, Bart. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. Within the parish are two fine lakes, called Patshull-pool andSnowdon-pool.
