PEPPER-HARROW, a parish in the first division
of the hundred of GODALMING, county of SURREY, 3
miles (W.) from Godalming, containing 130 inhabitants.
The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Surrey, and diocese of Winchester, rated
in the king's books at £6.7.6., and in the patronage
of Viscount Midleton.  The church is dedicated to St.
Nicholas. The river Wey passes through the parish.
