PERTHOLEY, a chapelry (parochial), in the lower division of the hundred of USK, county of MONMOUTH, 4 miles (S. by E.) from Usk. The population is returned with the parish of Llantrissent. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Llantrissent, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Llandaff, endowed with £200 royal bounty. The chapel is dedicated to St. Bartholomew.
