county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (S.) from Debenham, containing
254 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £9.12. 1., and in
the patronage of the Countess of Dysart. The church
is dedicated to St. Catherine.
