PETTISTREE, a parish in the hundred of WILFORD,
county of SUFFOLK, half of a mile (S. by W.) from
Wickham-Market, containing 260 inhabitants. The
living is a discharged vicarage, to which that of Lowdham
has been annexed, the church of that parish having
been demolished; it is in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and
diocese of Norwich, and in the patronage of the Crown.
The church is dedicated to St.Peter and St. Paul.
