PHILLEIGH, or FILLEY, a parish in the western division of the hundred of POWDER, county of CORNWALL, 6 miles (S.W.) from Tregoney, containing 395 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £15. 6. 0. The Trustees of T. Bedford, Esq. were patrons in 1804. The church is dedicated to St. Felix. The navigable river Mopus bounds the parish on the west, and Tregoney river runs on the north.
