of the hundred of ALDERBURY, locally in that of
Frustfield, county of WILTS, 4 miles (W. by S.)
from Romsey, containing 276 inhabitants. The living
is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of West
Grimstead, in the archdeaconry of Wilts, and diocese
of Salisbury.
