RASEN (WEST), a parish in the northern division
of the wapentake of WALSHCROFT, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 3 miles (W.) from Market-Rasen,
containing 210 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in
the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the
king's books at £19. 10. 10. The Rev. W. Cooper was
patron in 1809. The church is dedicated to All
Saints.
