RESTON (NORTH), a parish in the Marsh division of the hundred of LOUTH-ESKE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 4 miles (S. E.) from Louth, containing 46 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated ia the king's books at £4. 11. 10., endowed with £200 royal bounty. Mrs. Jackson was patroness in 1827. The church is dedicated to St. Edith. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
