county of NORFOLK, 6 miles (S. S.E.) from East
Dereham, containing 285 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £ 11.3. 6.,
and in the patronage of T. T. Gurdon, Esq. The church
is dedicated to St. Peter.
