of MILVERTON, county of SOMERSET, 2 miles (S. W.)
from Wellington, containing 376 inhabitants. The living
is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of
Taunton, and diocese of Bath and Wells, rated in the
king's books at £6.3. !., endowed with £800 royal
bounty, and in the patronage of W. Bellet, Esq. The
church is dedicated to the Holy Cross.
