SANTON, a parish in the hundred of GRIMSHOE,
county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (N. W. by N.) from Thetford,
containing 21 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and
diocese of Norwich, and in the patronage of the Mayor
and Corporation of Thetford. The church is dedicated
to St. Helen.
