SHEEN, a parish in the southern division of the hundred of TOTMONSLOW, county of STAFFORD, 10 miles (E. by N.) from Winster, containing 429 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual ciiracy, in the archdeaconry of Stafford, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, endowed with £ 800 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Sir H. Bateman. Fourteen poor children are educated for £7. 10. a year, the produce of sundry bequests.
