KINTBURY-EAGLE, county of BERKS, 5 miles (N.E.)
from Hungerford,-containing 50 inhabitants. The living
is a rectory, in the archdeaconryof Berks, and diocese
of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at & 9.11.3.,
and in the patronage of the Rev. C.-B. Coxe. This-parish
is entitled to send children to the school founded by
Lady Frances Winchcombe.-at Thatcham.
