SHOTTESHAM (ALL-SAINTS), a parish in the hundred of HENSTEAD, county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (N. E. by N.) from St. Mary Stratton, containing 458 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. 13. 4., and in the patronage of the Earl of Albemarle. Elizabeth Bayspoole, in 1711, bequeathed £4. 12. per annum for a school and other charitable purposes.
