SIBSEY, a parish in the western division of the
soke of BOLINGBROKE, parts of LINDSEY, county of
LINCOLN, 5 miles (N. N. E.) from Boston, containing
1354 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in
the king's books at £11. 11.3., and in the patronage
of. the Crown. The church is dedicated to St. Margaret.
There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
