SIDESTRANDS, a parish in the northern division
of the hundred of ERPINGHAM, county of NORFOLK, 3
miles (S. E. by E.) from Cromer, containing 146 inhabitants.
The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in
the king's books at £5. 10., endowed with £200 royal
bounty, and in the patronage of-the King, as Duke of
Lancaster. The church is dedicated to St. Michael.
