SISLAND, a parish in the hundred of LODDON,
county of NORFOLK, 6 miles (N. by E.) from Bungay,
containing 101 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £4. 3. 9. The
Rev. William Hobson was patron in 1819. The church
is dedicated to St. Mary.
