SOHAM (MONK), a parish in the hundred of
HOXNE, county of SUFFOLK, 6 miles (W. by N.) from
Framlingham, containing 388 inhabitants. The living
is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £19. 5. 2.,
and in the patronage of the Rev. J. H. Groome. The
Church is dedicated to St. Peter.
