of MALMESBURY, county of WILTS, 4 miles (S. E. by S.)
from Malmesbury, containing 481 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Wilts, and
diocese of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at
£12. J 4. 7., and in the patronage of the Rector and Fellows
of Exeter. College, Oxford. The church is dedicated
to St. Peter and St. Paul.
