SPRINGTHORPE, a parish in the wapentake of
CORRINGHAM, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN,
4 miles (E. by S.) from Gainsborough, containing 200
inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Stow, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's
books at £14. 3. 4., and in the patronage of the Crown.
The church is dedicated to St. George and St. Lawrence.
