STAMFORD-BRIDGE (EAST), a township partly
in the liberty of ST-PETER-of-YORK, but chiefly in that
part of the parish of CATTON which is in the Wilton-
Beacon division, of the wapentake of HARTHILL, East
riding of the county of YORK, 8 miles (E. N. E.) from
York, containing 298 inhabitants.
